The Sorsoap Story
Sorsoap began with a hip flexor, a shower, and a spark of inspiration.
David, an active guy always on the move, started experiencing nagging hip flexor pain. Stretching wasn’t enough, so he booked a session with his longtime physical therapist, Dr. Daniel Staats. During the session, Dr. Staats used a muscle scraping tool, and David immediately felt relief—his first thought? “Where has this been all my life?”
Later that day, while reflecting on his newfound relief in the shower, David noticed his curved bar of green soap. An idea struck: What if you could scrape your muscles and get clean at the same time? He gave it a try right then and there—and felt that same magical relief. The gears in his mind started turning (he’s a graphic designer, after all), and before he even dried off, he was sketching what would become Sorsoap.
The name came naturally—short, catchy, and perfect for his new invention. David teamed up with Dr. Staats, and together they refined the product, ensuring it was safe, effective, and easy to use. Fast forward, and the duo found themselves pitching their idea on Shark Tank. One muscle scrape later, Mark Cuban was all in, officially joining the Sorsoap team.
Now, Sorsoap is trusted by athletes, busy professionals, and wellness enthusiasts alike. Endorsed by doctors and designed to relieve tension and soothe sore muscles, Sorsoap combines genius design with natural recovery solutions. Who knew a simple shower moment could revolutionize recovery?
